Preventative Maintenance

Under Metro Air Compressor’s Preferred Care Preventative Maintenance Agreement you will:

Be contacted prior to the next service due date, based on your historical usage.
Be provided with 24-hour service, 7 days a week at a reduced labor rate.
Receive a comprehensive written report on the compressors, attached ancillary equipment and general environmental conditions that will impact the life of the equipment.
Have access to historical information as you may require.

This program provides a fixed cost on identified works for a period of twelve months; this enables you to budget for this period on preventative routine works.

Under Metro Air Compressor’s Preferred Care Preventative Maintenance Agreement the following will be performed.

2,000 Hr intervals depending on site conditions

Check safety shutdown systems

Replace the air inlet filter (where appropriate).

Replace the fluid filter.

Check separator.

Perform fluid sample analysis.

Motor bearing lubrication (where appropriate).

Check all electrical connections and tighten.

Check condition and operation of electrical contacts.

Inspection of all electrical internal wiring.

Inspection and servicing of all condensate drains in entire system.

Check and inspection of cooling system.

Inspection of in-line filtration equipment.

General inspection and cleaning of compressor to identify any potential problems.

Assess drive system for functionality and reliability.

Clean any strainers in system

Perform functional test of the air compressor and associated equipment.

Complete field service report.

Blow out condenser on dryer where applicable

8,000 Hr intervals depending on site conditions

All that is in the 2,000 hr intervals

Replace the air/oil separator element.

Check the purge line length and replace the orifice specific purge filter.

Replace lubrication.

Perform functional test of the air compressor and associated equipment.

Complete field service report.

Change any down stream filter elements in the compressor room (others upon request).

Change any zero loss drain wearable components and or kits.

In addition to the above service Metro Air Compressor also provides the following for our customers that are part of the Preferred Care Preventative Maintenance Program.

Air End Management

We will assess the condition of your compressor’s rotary screw air-end through vibration monitoring every 2,000 hours.

Shows problems on air end or motor well in advance of failure – saving you money and downtime.

Assists in troubleshooting.

Lowers repair costs by preventing further damage.

Maximize uptime.
